Sawyer Yards is proud to announce Compulsion, a new exhibition of works by the artists at Silos at Sawyer Yards. The exhibition occupies in all corridors and bays, and will be on view through August 18, 2023
Compulsion prompts artists to consider what differentiates them from their audience, from the buyer or collector who enters the studio and declares "I wish I could be creative". One difference is the need to create, the "compulsion". Each participating resident artist has included with each work, one word that gives the viewer some insight into what compels them.
The exhibition is free and open to the public from 9am - 5pm Monday through Saturday. An opening reception will take place on Friday June 2, from 6-8pm.
