Shapes of Summer

The artists of Spring Street Studios are proud to present Shapes of Summer, a dynamic and diverse exhibition curated by Steffani Frideres. Frideres writes:

"This exhibition explores a broad and expansive idea, the "Shapes of Summer". The intent is to lighten and brighten the view of our world, to create a sense of joy and energy. Each artist’s work uniquely interprets what summer means to them: whether it is figurative or abstract. These works have a bright summer color palette, creating a feast for the senses. Sunlight and color are the joining theme throughout, whether it is implied through objects or interpretations of color and form. The use of a variety of forms captures the essence and spirit of summer, bringing a sense of happiness and relaxation to the season. This is the visual focus of the exhibition, that I hope the viewer will enjoy."

The exhibit will be on view through November 2 on the first floor of Spring Street Studios. Join the artists for an opening reception and celebration on September 7, from 6-8pm.
