Silver Street Studios is pleased to announce the highly anticipated Salon Exhibition, a captivating art  event that pays homage to the prestigious salon shows of the 17th and 18th centuries. Taking  inspiration from the vibrant history of French art, this annual exhibition invites art enthusiasts to  immerse themselves in an extraordinary showcase of talent, creativity, and innovation. 

Originating as a cultural phenomenon in France, the historic salon shows served as esteemed  platforms for showcasing the very best works by French artists. Eager art lovers would journey the  streets of Paris, traversing from one studio to another, reveling in the beauty of the artworks,  expanding their collections, and basking in the presence of their favorite artists. It is this cherished  tradition that Silver Street Studios continues to embrace and revive with its annual Salon exhibition,  providing a captivating experience for art enthusiasts. 

Set against the backdrop of our esteemed Silver Street Studios, the Salon Exhibition encapsulates the  essence of the French salon experience while incorporating contemporary elements that reflect the  diversity and dynamism of today's art scene. The exhibition serves as a celebration of the profound  influence that French art has had on artistic expression throughout history. 

Throughout the exhibition, each participating artist is granted a dedicated space along the main  corridor, meticulously transformed into a personal sanctuary of creativity. Here, artists are given  complete freedom to curate their space, allowing their artistic vision to unfold and captivate visitors.  The result is a visually stunning journey that transcends boundaries and reveals the unique narratives  embedded within each artist's work. 

In addition to the main corridor, the Salon Exhibition also features curated presentations in the  secondary hallways, overseen by guest curator Alexander Squier. This curated selection offers visitors an exploration of diverse artistic perspectives, themes, and techniques. It is an opportunity for  art enthusiasts to experience unexpected artistic encounters and discover new horizons within the  contemporary art world.
