Sawyer Yards is proud to announce Color in Motion, an exhibition of bold and vibrant paintings and sculptures by Silver Street artists Lacy Husmann and Darrell White (Studio #304).
Lacy Husmann is an American abstract expressionist artist; specializing in one-of-a-kind works made with resin. Her non-figurative artworks are visual expressions of emotions and ideas. Utilizing media such as ink, acrylic, oils, and resins, creates unique blends of structure and chaos. The results are multi layered three dimensional, textured compositions.
Darrell is a Texas based metal and mixed media artist. By combining the use of various types of metals, paints, powder coating and other finishes he creates custom abstract and modern sculptures. A skillset of welding and other fabrication processes give life to these unique works. His creative process is driven by raw emotion and the beauty, fragility and harshness of wild nature.
The exhibition is on view in the West Gallery, accessible through Door 4 on the veranda of Silver Street Studios. Join the artists for an opening reception at from 5:30 to 8:00pm on September 14.
