Artist Doug Jacobson presents Angels in the Dark 2, featuring acrylic abstractions on canvas or wood panel that were inspired by the angels among us. Jacobson writes "these amazing individuals selflessly helped me find the light went all felt lost."
Doug Jacobson is a painter who has worked primarily in acrylic since 1982. Doug layers transparent and opaque paint in energy-driven abstract compositions that vary substantially between the canvas paintings and his wood panel paintings.
The exhibition runs from March 1 - 29, and is on view to the public in Bay 300 Gallery of the Silos at Sawyer Yards studio building from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Saturday.
