Vicki Hessemer’s artistic journey began with an extraordinary and life-altering moment. After a psychic told her she was destined to paint, every painting she had ever seen flashed vividly through her mind. That powerful experience ignited a path of self-discovery and creative expression.
Initially self-taught, Vicki refined her craft through studies at the Art League of Houston, the Glassell School of Art, and under the guidance of various acclaimed artists across the U.S. Her rich and varied background in interior design, healing touch, Spiritual Response Therapy, and practicing and teaching yoga has profoundly shaped her artistic voice and vision.
For Vicki, art is both a reflection of the unseen and a vessel for transformation. "At the deepest level of our being, we all know our spiritual nature," she says. "We are souls first, living a human experience second. While we may not always consciously recognize it, there is much that happens around us we cannot see but can deeply feel if we are in tune."
Her work is an invitation to healing and awakening—a visual manifestation of Spirit’s presence, designed to spark a sense of wonder, peace, and connection in the viewer. Vicki’s intention is to help others reconnect with their Divine Spiritual Nature and recognize the spiritual entities that surround and guide them. Her art seeks to awaken a spark within, to remind us of the unseen forces that nurture and support us, and to encourage a deeper sense of purpose and self-awareness.
Born in Houston, Texas, Vicki specializes in abstract painting and collage. Her creations resonate with a profound sense of connection, offering viewers a space to heal, reflect, and reconnect with their Divine Spiritual Nature.
