Caro Kroger, a recent graduate from Carnegie Mellon’s fine arts program, is
a painter, sculptor, and textile artist from Houston, Texas. She uses a mix of artistic
techniques and media to express wry and surreal takes on her surroundings, often
with references to the changing landscapes of the American South and West. She
finds inspiration in the storytelling and culture of her Texas Gulf Coast roots, as
well as her Mexican-German heritage.
