I specialize in preserving insects and butterflies from around the world in shadow frames, boxes and furniture as art. All of my insects are ethically sourced from farms and sanctuaries around the world after they have passed away naturally. I began my fascination with insects as a child from my mother who was a entomologist. She taught me about preserving, pinning insects and about the wide variety of insects and their importance in our world. My father was more on the artistic side, so I merged together what I had learned from my parents and Bug In The Box was born. My partner Tristan and I both share a love for nature and all of its insects and bugs and we love to share our knowledge with others through our art.
