Ruby R Scott, an artist-owner of Arts a Daisy Gallery LLC, has studio 114 in the Silo Building of Sawyer Yards. She specializes in large acrylic paintings. She has an eclectic taste in art, displayed in her wide range of artworks: abstract, figurative-abstract fusion, impressionism, realism, modern, and contemporary styles. Her paintings, “Bellissima Principessa”, “Limbless One”, and “Limbless Two” have been exhibited at Sawyer Yards. She was also chosen as one of a dozen artists worldwide to present her painting, “Reflections of Extravagant Love,” as a collaborative music-art exhibition, in New York City, by pianist-composer Margin Alexander. Mr. Alexander composed and played a piano piece specifically for “Reflections of Extravagant Love,” live streamed worldwide.
Currently, she has five select paintings on exhibit in New Caney, Texas at The Atrium Center. She’s also involved with Art on the Avenue Houston, and offered a painting for their 25th Anniversary Art Auction to help raise money for building affordable homes in the community to strengthen our city and promote vibrant and inclusive neighborhoods.
