Silver Street Studios2000 Edwards Street
Save the date for February 17th and join event co-chairs, Eva Sagisaka + Morgan Holleman, Erika Mei Chua Holum, Rachelle Maldonado, Matt Manalo, and Merry + Palmer Schooley at one of the most wondrously lively fundraisers of the year.
In true Fresh Arts form, the annual “Ball” will combine an immersive atmosphere, over-the-top outfits, creative cocktails, and fantastic arts entertainment featuring exciting performances and a stellar silent art auction – showcasing some of Houston’s most dynamic emerging and established artists.
More than just the best art party in town, the annual Ball funds Fresh Arts programs that strengthen the Houston arts community by supporting the artists who create it. Fresh Arts’ annual Ball also highlights local arts champions who embody the empowerment of Houston’s artists and creatives. This year’s Ball will honor the esteemed Theresa Chang, commissioner for the Texas Commission on the Arts, and our favorite dancing queen and arts education advocate, Ruby Rivera, founder of Texas Salsa Congress.
Fresh Arts is also proud to partner this year with Janice Bond, owner + director of ART IS BOND Contemporary Art Gallery, to revamp the Art Auction experience with an expertly curated selection of affordable pieces showcasing the incredible talent of our local artists.
Help keep Houston’s art scene vibrant!
Proceeds from the annual gala benefit Fresh Arts programs and operations raising key funding that strengthens our city’s arts community by championing the vibrant creatives who make it all possible. Your support of the WONDER BALL funds career-building opportunities for local artists and connects them to new audiences through free and accessible exhibitions, public art, and performances that benefit the entire Houston community.
